Delhi Capitals or Delhi Daredevils is one of the most buzzed teams based out of Delhi in Tata IPL. The owners of this team are the GMR Group and JSW group. Both hold joint franchises of this team. The home ground for DC or Delhi capitals is Arun Jaitley Stadium, located in Delhi near rajghat. They are trophy-less in all 14 seasons, and they appeared in the finals in IPL 2020. IPL is a domestic cricket league that the BCCI or Board of Control organizes in India. ICC backs the tournament because it gives a chance to those players who don’t get an easy chance to represent their country. The inaugural season was aired in 2008, and at that time, eight players participated in this tournament. These teams represent each state, and Delhi has been part of this tournament from season 1. Sehwag, Gambhir, and other big names were part of this team. Basically, every 2 to 3 years, the IPL body hosts a mega auction, in which all players get shuffled and get a new team. In 2008, the Delhi team was bought by the property development company GMR Group for US$84 million.

JSW became part of this franchise in 2018 when GMR sold 50% shares for 550 crore rupees. At that point, they changed the team’s name from Delhi Daredevils to the Delhi Capitals. Let’s talk about the present team combination. This team has changed drastically in mega-auction. Let’s see the players in this team.
